Job Summary The Team Success Manager will be responsible for directing and supervising the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned shop locations; ensuring delivery of quality customer service, consistent quality drinks, and achievement of sales goals.
The ideal candidate shows passion for leading happy, empowered, accountable teams and supports management in creating and implementing systems to run the organization smoothly and efficiently.
Duties/Responsibilities Manage employee scheduling, call outs and time off management Assist management with occasional errands and technology issues within shops Adhere to and exemplify the rules, policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook Partner with Human Resources and upper management with employment actions:
including evaluations, disciplinary actions, and termination of employees in accordance with company policy Assist with ongoing customer service training and situational awareness training.
Oversee the new employee training process Identify training needs and opportunities to ensure that service and products meet required standard for quality and consistency.
Develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs Participate in management meetings Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with shop staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives Quality control of all shops - Periodic shop inspections and shift walk throughs to ensure OSHA, DEC and company standards are met Other duties as assigned Skills/Abilities Strong proven supervisory and leadership skills; including the ability to hold teams accountable for their actions by praising successes and confronting poor performance Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service Excellent time management skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Works with unquestionable integrity; the commitment to always do the right thing, not the easy thing.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport with teams Proven ability to motivate, guide, and grow young employees who are new to the workforce
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of proven management or supervisory experience 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume coffee shop preferred Able to lift up to 30 lbs Able to provide valid driver's license Current ServSafe certification, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Schedule:
Full time day shift; Monday - Friday.
